My sincerest apologies for the delay of this message.  The weekend, filled with obligations and tasks got away from me, and I only now (Sunday at 10:45 p.m.) realized that I had not provided you the schedule for the week.  And suddenly a moment of panic washed over me like a tidal wave.

I don’t want to let you down and I don’t want you to think I’ve forgotten you.  I don’t want you to become discouraged or to think that continuing through these last six chapters is not worthwhile.

I want you to be excited to continue, but most of all pleased…and that is precisely where I’ve gone wrong.

Chapter 13, you’re going to find to be a bit hard to swallow, if you’re anything like me.  You’re going to read it; highlighter in hand and gasp aloud at the hard truths that Lysa lays bare before us.

It’s not all about pleasing others.  It’s about pleasing and glorifying the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

So forgive me that I panicked over a late email.  And though I do give value to your thoughts and feelings over this study and your involvement in the Intentional Filling community, I need to ask forgiveness from Christ for not putting his intentions and desires first.

It’s a week of challenges.  But they will be so beautiful that it is well worth the temporary discomfort that is bound to happen.
