Paige is a third grade teacher and YoungLife leader from Buckhannon, WV.ย She has a passion for reading, writing, photography, and sharing the love of Jesus with others, specifically high school students.ย She is the proud dog mom of one rescue pup named Millie, who keeps life interesting, to say the least.ย She loves to travel and go on โadventuresโ even if thatโs just a late-night drive with friends.ย She is very excited to be a part of the Intentional Filling team for the current book study.
Paigeโs favorite Scripture comes fromย Matthew 25:35-40.
Week Five | Blessed By Sharing in the Resurrection of Jesus
“As followers of Jesus, we have immeasurable blessings, but one of those blessings specifically is that we do not need to be frightened or worried about these books mentioned in Revelation 20.”
Week Two | Blessed By Being Known By Jesus
“When we read Revelation 2-3, we are essentially reading a report card, created by Jesus, for each of the seven churches of Asia.”
Week Seven | God’s Image Stamped in Dust
“When we look at the Bible through a Middle Eastern Lens, we no longer see the need to resolve the paradox that is created by the โwrathful Fatherโ of the Old Testament and the โcompassionate Sonโ of the New Testament.”
Week Five | Praying with Chutzpah
“Bold, persistent, unflinching honesty, lacking trepidation, and timidnessโthese are all words I underlined in this weekโs reading as it came to describing how Jesus wants us to be in prayer.”
Week Five | The Feast of Weeks
“When it comes to Scripture, not a single word is ever wasted.ย So, when God instructs His children to count fifty days, there is significance in that number.”
Week Eight | The Feast of Tabernacles
“It is human nature to desire comfort and convenience, but the thing is, God doesnโt call us to be comfortable.”
Week Five | Make the Most of Delays and Detours
“Godโs gift of rest and the detours in our lives all have value.ย We just have to take the time to recognize it.”
Week Two | Develop Eyes That See
“If we choose to say yes to the wilderness, we choose to โgrow through what we go through.โ Engaging in the process involves shifting our own focus from the destination to the journey.”
Week Six | Jesus and the Torah
โPerhaps the best way to understand the Torah is to see it as something more than an inflexible set of laws.”
Week Five | Come to the Table
“What was the significance of coming to the table together?”
Week Seven | The Tale of Two Marys
“Hold your space at the feet of Jesus. ย Walk so closely that you canโt help but be covered in His dust.”
Week Two | Woman in First-Century World
“When Jesus connected with women, there were two things that were always a part of those interactions, mishpat, and tzedakah, the Hebrew for justice and righteousness.”
