Rooted in the Word – Episode 01: Preparing for Growth

What is the first thing that you do when you start a garden? You plan.
In the spring of 2020, when the world began to shut down due to COVID-19, a friend of mine and I decided to try our hand at gardening. After all, fresh veggies would be a lot easier to come by from our back yards rather than masking up or ordering our groceries. So, we began planning.
Roughly around the same time, Intentional Filling adopted a new mission and vision, to help Christian women intentionally grow their faith + calling by being rooted in the Word of God.
What a blessing it was to watch similar themes sprout forth in both of my passions!
So what does all of this garden business have to do with being rooted in the Word of God?
Just like starting a garden, rooting yourself in the Word of God requires a plan. With that plan, a list of tools is also necessary to be successful and reap a bountiful harvest.
