Week Six // The Best Yes
My sincerest apologies for the delay of this message. Â The weekend, filled with obligations and tasks got away from me, and I only now (Sunday at 10:45 p.m.) realized that I had not provided you the schedule for the week. Â And suddenly a moment of panic washed over me like a tidal wave.
I don’t want to let you down and I don’t want you to think I’ve forgotten you. Â I don’t want you to become discouraged or to think that continuing through these last six chapters is not worthwhile.
I want you to be excited to continue, but most of all pleased…and that is precisely where I’ve gone wrong.

Chapter 13, you’re going to find to be a bit hard to swallow, if you’re anything like me. Â You’re going to read it; highlighter in hand and gasp aloud at the hard truths that Lysa lays bare before us.
It’s not all about pleasing others. Â It’s about pleasing and glorifying the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
So forgive me that I panicked over a late email. Â And though I do give value to your thoughts and feelings over this study and your involvement in the Intentional Filling community, I need to ask forgiveness from Christ for not putting his intentions and desires first.
It’s a week of challenges. Â But they will be so beautiful that it is well worth the temporary discomfort that is bound to happen.
